Srinivas Kallakuru retired from a Maharatna public sector company after 39 years, from 1985 to 2024, spent in quality control, marketing quality control, petroleum products, training and customer service.
Close to two decades of that was hands-on handling and testing of petroleum products, followed by extended responsibility in marketing quality control — product quality assurance, customer complaints and quality inspection. He served as Senior Manager, Marketing Quality Control from 2005 to 2024, covering quality and quantity inspection at retail outlets across a region and training dealers, managers and officers.
Training has been a consistent thread throughout. He has delivered guest lectures to MBA students, worked as trainer and moderator on Train-the-Trainer programmes, developed training content and assessments, authored courses for an internal corporate learning academy, and mentored students preparing for competitive examinations.
He served as Hindi Implementation Coordinator for his region and contributed to Excellence Awards in three consecutive years — 2021, 2022 and 2023 — receiving an award from the Hon'ble Governor of Kerala in 2023.
